Having turned professional in May of 2009, Ken Boyter has appeared in over 100 murder mysteries, over 20 short films, one thirty minute TV comedy pilot, one music video (Madina Lake’s ‘Let’s Get Outta Here’), one documentary, and 6 feature films as well as appearing as Mr. Mike Garden in ‘The Wick’.
Ken has also appeared in 2 plays, the most recent was as Arthur Chauncer and Reverend Francis Hutchinson in The Last Witch written by Kate Miller and directed by Richard Syms.
Over half of Ken’s film credits have been lead roles. He has enjoyed playing diverse characters such as a troubled artist, a disillusioned tramp, a deranged psychopath, a nasty drug dealer, a hapless Devil, a 1920s cad and bounder, and Sherlock Holmes.
Ken is developing and writing an historical drama, set in the nineteen century, for television.
Ken is currently attending acting lessons with the renowned director and tutor David Johnson. He has also passed his BASSC basic rapier and dagger and unarmed stage combat courses.
